After your car is disassembled, all sheet metal and metal parts are chemically cleaned of paint, grease, and dirt. Next, they are chemically cleaned of rust and phosphate-coated. The process throughly cleans the metal in all areas including seams and pockets, and does not work-harden or distort the metal as sandblasting does. All parts are then prepped and coated with a self-etching primer. All seams and joints are then sealed with a seam sealer. |
